Former CFO Takes the Reigns to Carry on the Foundation

We recently announced that realtor Lana Morin Pierce will take over as the Intero Foundation president.

Lana is much more than just a realtor. Anyone who knows her would without a doubt speak to her giving, caring nature. In the words of Intero CEO Tom Tognoli, “Lana is not only a great Realtor but also a great leader who is passionate about helping others.  I know with that passion Lana will be a great President and will lead our foundation to new heights.”

Lana is a San Mateo native who has been a realtor for 11 years. She has been a critical component of the Intero Foundation for the past 4 years as an office representative, and most recently as CFO. Her commitment has been monumental to its growth, and her passion for the community it supports has always made her stand out in the crowd.

Beyond her efforts as a foundation member, Lana has also used her real estate knowledge paired with her passion for helping others to give back to the local community. For example, earlier this year Lana sold the Russell Bede School, a nonprofit that helped teach children with learning disabilities. Because of her selfless service and devotion to the children of the community, the nonprofit gave our Intero Foundation $62,500, marking it as one of our largest donations since inception.

“I am honored to accept the position as President of the Intero Foundation. I have always loved being a part of this organization, and look forward to making an even bigger impact on helping our local Bay Area children,” states Lana Morin Pierce.

Lana has many aspirations with an underlying goal of raising local awareness. She aims to accomplish this by first taking a more collaborative approach within the Intero team. She is confident that unity among Intero will be the most effective way to spread excitement and build support of the foundation within the community.

Rounding off the Intero Foundation’s leadership team, we’d also like to welcome new officers Vice President Vicki Ferrando and CFO Mark Jongsma, who joined Kelli Dixon as she continues her term as Secretary.
